By mistake 11.02 Lakhs has been added in other information part 2 as capital additions.


By mistake 11.02 Lakhs has been added in other information part 2 as capital additions. Actually there are no capital additions in case of assessee firm. ITO wants to add back the said amount saying that the return has been filed usingDigital Signatures.

You may revise the return. AO cannot make addition if there is no actual addition.

As you are mentioning that the AO wants to add back as income of 11.02 lacs , ie the case is under scrutiny. During the assessment proceedings, you can give a written submission mentioning the mistake in the return and see that the same is mentioned in the order sheet. Even if the AO does not consider the submission, you can get relief in the Appeal
